Why Xylitol?

Xylitol is a naturally-occurring, five carbon atom molecule. It is found in many fruits and vegetables, and is even produced by the human body itself. Xylitol does not effect your glucose levels, making it diabetic safe. Commercially, xylitol is made from xylan rich hemicellulose sources such as birch and other hardwoods.

Xylitol has a natural pH and therefore is not a food source for bacteria to feed. If your saliva is a neutral pH of 7 after consuming pure xylitol, the pH remains a 7; it has not fed the bacteria but it has not killed the bacteria either. The difference between B-Fresh products and other xylitol products is B-Fresh's patented formula raises the pH to between a 9 - 11. By raising the pH and creating a more alkaline condition the bacteria quickly die and your mouth feels clean and cool.

Energy From Vitamin B12

Why Take Vitamin B12?

The benefits of Vitamin B12 are numerous and a deficiency of this important vitamin can have serious consequences including, but not limited to, nerve damage, muscle weakness, fatigue, anemia, depression, failing memory, and stunted growth in children. B12 plays an important role in the formation and regeneration of the body’s red blood cells as well as the nerve functions. In addition, this crucial vitamin aids in the lowering of homocysteine levels. High homocysteine levels are linked to the risk for heart disease and lead to heart attacks. Vitamin B12 also acts as an oxygen carrier, metabolizes fat, enhances the body’s immune system, and aids in easing neurological disorders. Vegetarians often have a deficiency in B12 due to the fact that animal products contain the highest concentrations of B121.

How Much B12 Can I Take?

Vitamin B12 does not have any toxicity. Therefore, it is safe to take as much B12 as you like; any B12 that your body does not need is simply excreted through your urine2.

Why Use B-Fresh Products as a Source of B12

B-Fresh products contain three forms of water soluble calcium; it is very difficult for the body to absorb calcium in the absence of B12. B-Fresh products are all natural and contain no sugar, salt, gluten, or artificial flavors and/or colors. It is recommended that your B12 supplement contain no fillers or additives such as sugar, salt, or gluten. Our products are sweetened with the all natural sweetener xylitol and are Kosher, Vegan, and Gluten free3 .

Benefits of Cinnamon

Why Chew B-Fresh Cinnamon Gum?

B-Fresh products are all-natural products made in the U.S. Our products offer many health benefits, including being diabetic-safe, kosher, vegan and gluten free. Aside from the great long-lasting taste, there are many health benefits to chewing B-Fresh Cinnamon gum. Recent studies have heralded the benefits of cinnamon.

The US Agricultural Research Service nutrition labs have found that cinnamon has a positive effect on insulin sensitivity. This is due to the fact that cinnamon allows cells to be more accepting to insulin. This occurs because of the methylhydroxy chalcone polymer that is found in cinnamon. The study also found that this polymer lowers blood pressure for those with Type II diabetes and also prevents damaging oxygen radicals from forming.1

Studies have also found that cinnamon benefits in the treatment of stomach disorders and fights bacteria. Cinnamon has many antibacterial capabilities and in particular is known to fight E. coli bacteria. Cinnamon acts as a digestive aid and can relive gas and bloating, and treat diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.2

Research also suggests that cinnamon lowers triglycerides, LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol. Researchers believe that cinnamon may help prevent or control elevated lipid and glucose levels.3 Other benefits of cinnamon have been researched and include a wide array of advantages. One advantage is that cinnamon is known to constrict and tone muscles. In addition, cinnamon supports digestive function, relieves congestion, relieves pain and stiffness of muscles and joints, relieves menstrual discomfort and helps prevent urinary tract infections. Cinnamon has also been found to contain blood thinning compounds that stimulate circulation and anti-inflammatory compounds that researchers believe could potentially relieve arthritis. Another benefit of cinnamon, which goes hand in hand with B-Fresh’s already patented formula, is that cinnamon helps prevent tooth decay and gum disease.4
